Black&Blue Jeans

This winter I made a few new trousers for Jorn. All his clothes were to small for him. This was one of them. Spring is in the air, so it was now possible to take the pictures outside.
The Jeans was made out of a very cool Jeans fabric with black and blue printed lines. Of course I played with the direction of the pattern pieces on the fabric. This results in both horizontal and vertical lines. Combined with the red seams, the trousers look very cool. The pattern comes from "Ottobre magazine" nr.4 2009. Of course the original zipper was replaced by a fake one and elastic in the waisteband. The size of the trousers is 128.

Teletubbies, Po Costume

For a party at the pre-school playgroup of Jelle I made this cute Po costume. He always watches the Teletubbies. He likes Po the most. He even pretends to be Po. (I have to be LaaLaa, his brother Jorn is Dipsy and dad is Tinky Winky). The base pattern comes from the Dutch book "Knippie verkleedklerenboek". The antenna, tv-screen, ears and mittens are my own design. I made this costume in size 92/98.

Grey Ribcord Salopette

Because she loves Jelle his salopette trousers so much, I made this grey ribcord salopette for my niece Marle. My sister-in-law bought the fabric and the cotton tape with gnomes. All I had to do was sew the trousers.

It's the same pattern I used two times (Jeans) (Brown Ribcord) before. It comes from "Knippie idee" nr.3 2008. I like this pattern very much because it has a slim fit. The pattern also gives lots of opportunities to vary. This version was made in size 98.

Fleece Jacket with Cow Application

Last fall I also made this fleece jacket with cow application. The cow application is made from small pieces of left over fleece fabric. The jacket has funny ears sewn into the hood of the jacket. Although the cow application is very cute, the black details give the jacket a firm look. The fleece jacket has a black cotton lining to absorb moisture. It also gives the jacket a comfortable feeling. The pattern was made in size 98 and comes from "Knippie idee".

Ribcord Jeans Jacket

Last fall I made a Jeans Jacket for my son Jelle. I used a dark blue ribcord fabric and a lightblue cotton lining. The pattern pieces are laid on the fabric in different directions . The small differences in colour in combination with the red seams create a playful look. The pattern comes from "Knippie idee" and was made in size 92. The original pattern didn't have a lining. The original pattern had fake pockets, but I made real pockets instead.

Sweater and Jeans

The pattern of the sweater comes from Ottobre. It's a combination of two different patterns. The different colours of sweater fabric make this sweater so unique. The size of the sweater is 92.
The Jeans was originally made for his older brother Jorn. I believe it was size 98. I've used the inner and outer side of the fabric. This gives small differences in colour, which give it a playful effect. The pattern comes from "Knippie idee".

Jeans and Jeans Jacket

The pattern for the Jeans and Jeans Jacket come from the magazine "Ottobre". Both models are made in size 128.

The Jacket comes from nr. 3 2007. The original pattern didn't have a lining. It also had an extra set of pockets. I decided to go for the more original "Jeans Jacket look" and omitted the extra pockets.
The jeans comes from nr. This pattern was almost left as the original. The only difference is the fake zipper and elastic in the waisteband.

Red Ribcord Trousers

The pattern for these red ribcord trousers comes from the magazine "Ottobre". I laid the patterns for the pockets and some other pieces in a different direction on the fabric. This way you get small differences in colour. This gives a funny effect. The trousers are size 92.

Salopette

Because he liked the salopettes of his brother Jelle I made a salopette for my son Jorn too. This pattern comes from "Knipmode" january 1998. Of course the pattern is altered here and there. It's just impossible for me to make a garment exactly from the pattern.

Clown Costume

For the birthday of his teacher I made a clown costume for Jorn. All the children were dressed up as circus people. Jorn wanted to be a clown. The pattern comes from 'Knip Mode' february 2000.
