Pirate Costume

Thursday, last week, Jorn had to perform in the play at school. The play was about "Floddertje". Jorn was a child at a party. He wanted to dress up as a pirate. The patterns come from different magazines.

Black Trousers

Yesterday I finished these black trousers for my son Jorn. The pattern for the trousers came from the Dutch magazine "Sabrientje" nr.1 1999. I believe the magazine doesn't exist anymore. The original pattern had a zipper. Because my son hates "trousers with buttons" (as he calls them) I decided to go for a fake zipper and elastic in the waisteband.

Ska Trousers

Last weekend I made these ska trousers for my son Jorn. He is almost 5 years old and wears size 116. The pattern for these trousers came from "Knippie Idee" nr.2 2008. Of course I had to alter the pattern again too. The original design had cords through the waistband. Since my son always pulls these out I decided to use only elastic in the waistband.

Trousers for my son Jelle

Last week I made these trousers for my son Jelle. He is almost 2 years old and wears size 86. The pattern for the trousers came from the Dutch magazine "Knippie idee" nr.3 2008. I altered the pattern a little bit to keep all the details in balance. I'm pretty happy with the result.
